How has our dependence on technology improved our world? The two things that come to mind quickly is commincation and the advancements in the medical field. Both of these feilds has helped humanity.
diminished the human connection--I don't belief the computer has done this. My friends are all on facebook and they text quite often, but I don't. I have not lost there love or time.

ReplyDeleteI agree that technology has definitely improved our advancements in communication and within the medical field. I don't think that technology is inherently either good or bad, but I do feel that it does create social isolation to a degree. True everyone is on facebook, but how often do people pick up the phone to actually hear the other person's voice, or go meet up with friends in person to have a cup of coffee to give them a hug and see them face to face? This is why I think technology isolates us, it takes us away from the other aspects of social interaction on a more intimate level than simply logging on to the computer. That's just my opinion though.
